Avalec is a Maison de Maitre, and has been lovingly restored by the present owners, retaining many of its original features but including a modernisation programme.

The house has four bedrooms, uniquely all with en-suite facilities. On the top floor the two attic rooms feature a wealth of original oak beams, roof trusses and windows. En-suite facilities include toilet, hand basin and multi-jet shower.
The first floor master rooms boast oak ceiling beams and feature granite stone walls. These rooms benefit from double glazed windows and fully tiled bathrooms. The en-suite facilities include bath, toilet, bidet and hand basin.
Both floors are reached via traditional original oak staircases.
The main lounge is huge and includes the original granite stone fireplace incorporating a modern log burner. Double glazed windows complement a feature seven metre long stone wall and a wealth of original oak beams in the ceiling.

There is also a modern toilet and shower room on the ground floor.
The kitchen has all ‘mod cons’ including a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and large stove which is set in an original granite fireplace.

The owners live on site in the longere attached (but separate) to the main house.
